Alexander Marmolejos Durán was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. At age 18, he moved to New York to attend Joffrey Ballet School’s Pre-Professional Ballet Program and graduated in 2023. Since joining Connecticut Ballet in January 2024, he has been a guest artist with several U.S. ballet companies and internationally. A self-described ‘Proud Latino,’ his favorite thing about ballet is ‘partnering work.’ This marks his third season with Connecticut Ballet.
